• One weekend we took a day trip up to Stratford, Ontario. We live in Toronto so it took us about 2 hours to get there. My husband and I are early birds so we like to start the day early and beat traffic!

Our Day..

We started our day in the main square, it was Sunday, so they had a market in the middle of the square (definitely brought back memories of being in Europe). There are lots of cute little boutiques and chocolate stores. I love browsing at all the home made collections.

I have to admit I actually do not like chocolate! But for all you chocolate lovers out there I’ve heard raving reviews about the place https://rheothompson.com

•We wandered through the Shakespearean Garden

•There are pedal boat rentals by the gardens and it gives major “The Note Book” vibes!

• For lunch we ate at @revivalhouse_on , it is a refurbished church changed into restaurant. And it is completely stunning inside and out! The brunch was delicious as well. They host a variety of functions or if you just want to enjoy the great food and drinks in a very unique place. I Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Here is the link to the website and Instagram page.

I was pleasantly surprised about our trip to Stratford! I think it was worth the drive, it was so absolutely pretty. You really do feel like you are in a fairytale.
