Top Tips for Visiting Venice (Venezia)

Have You ever Dreamt about going to Venice??

What is it about Venice that is so captivating? Even though Venice is over crowded with tourists, its charm and picturesque architecture always makes you want to go back. Venice is definitely a tourist attraction for a reason, it is an incredibly unique city that you won’t see any where else in the world.

Surrounded by charming bridges and windings canals. There is something new to be discovered down every ally. But be careful, a lot of the roads are dead ends leading you straight into the water!

Did you know there are no cars in Venice? The main method of transportation is either by boat or train. Venice has many nick names such as: “The City of Canals,” The Floating City,” and “Serenissima.”

I would recommend staying in Venice about 2-3 nights. Here are some top must see attractions and experiences.

  • San Marco’s Square
  • San Marco’s Church
  • The Grand Canal

**Travel Tip: For more authentic food options (less touristy restaurants that are not as expensive) try venturing out from the main areas and streets. Neighborhood’s on the Outskirts will offer you more authentic food and probably cheaper prices.
