Are you having a hard time deciding what to pack and wear for your spring/ summer vacation to Europe? I put together some versatile outfits for 2023 Spring/ Summer in Europe. Whether in Monaco, Italy, France or the Netherlands these outfits remain elegant, fun and comfortable in the summer heat.
Todays inspiration are the colours blue and white. I find these colours, timeless, elegant, and classic; they have amazing versatility so they be can dressed up or down (Which is exactly what you need when you are on vacation and don’t have lots of luggage space.)
Clothing
Linen Sun Dress from Zara
I chose to pair this Linen Zara Dress with a Woven Elastic Jessica Simpson belt I recently purchased from Winners. To make the outfit more chic, I love to add in the colour red to my accessories or make up. Do not be afraid to wear your favourite sun hat; not only does it protect you from the sun but it also makes your outfit very luxurious. These outfits can be worn for a day shopping in Paris, relaxing along The Amalfi Coast, or strolling along the canals in Amsterdam.
Zara Striped Satin Blouse
I must same I am very happy with this purchase from Zara. This satin blouse is light and flowly and the fit is very flattering, not to mention very reasonably priced . Shorts: You can pick your favourite pair of blue or white shorts. I paired my outfit with white shorts from Zara that I purchased last summer and the navy blue pair are from Aritzia ( they no plonger sell that style of short but have similar options.
Shoes
Europe’s landscape is beautiful but usually requires lots of walking up and down hills and on uneven floors/ cobblestone You will want to choose something more comfortable and supportive.
Wishbone Sneakers: I love these Wishbone sneakers (I also own a pair in green and white.) These sneakers are super stylish not to mention super comfortable. I purchased these around Dec 2022-Jan 23 and got a great deal at Browns Shoes. I believe they were around $62CND so I couldn’t resist! I find these fun sneakers a staple in my wardrobe, I really get my use out of them.
Gold pair of platform Sandals from Winners/ Marshall’s: These shoes were purchased last summer they are comfortable, cute and add some height.
Quilted Colour loafers: I recently purchased these at winners/Marshall’s as well! I believe they still have them so act fast! They were $49.99.
Purses:
The bags I have chosen are relatively small, the Gucci bag being the smallest. These purses are easy to travel with, I don’t like travelling with big, heavy purses.
Woven Divinia Firenze Bag: I have recently purchased this bag at Winners/Marshalls for $59.00 CND, they currently have more in stalk so hurry and get yours. To add an extra pop of colour I tied on a little satin handkerchief.
Red Ted Baker Cross Body Bag: This bag is a perfect size, and adds a perfect pop of red to the outfit.
Mini Black Gucci Bag: This is a more expensive purchase, but if you can splurge I would recommend this bag. Tips & Tricks
The great thing about all these items are that you can play them up, and style them differently. These outfits are chic, comfortable and fun and for the most part budget friendly.
- Don’t forget to leave extra space in your luggage because Europe has incredible shopping, you can pick out unique finds that are reasonably priced.
- Don’t: Wear caps/hats indoors; It considered rude to wear a hat inside, especially when eating.
